ADVERTISMENT

With more than 8,000 pieces of art, this gallery houses the world’s largest collection of Southeast Asian art. But don’t just savour the art on the walls – look at the walls themselves. Because the buildings used to be the city’s former Supreme Court and City Hall, some of the refurbished rooms that now display the art – including courtrooms and judges’ chambers – are remarkable to behold. Also remarkable: a view of the city from the gallery’s rooftop bar, with a cocktail in hand, of course.
