This 3.5 km stretch of sand is where all the boys and girls come together to worship the sun before heading to Paradise Complex to party the night away. Look for the large gay area in front of La Flora Resort Patong, marked by several rainbow flags. Although it can get pretty crowded, the lure of the beach’s soft, sun-kissed sand, set against a backdrop of majestic mountains in the Andaman Sea is worth the squeeze.
