This place is a favorite among the guys, especially for its famous Blue Spin—a powerful cocktail that’ll have you dancing in no time! You can't miss this bar—just look for the rainbow flag proudly waving above the entrance! It's a go-to spot for regulars who love strong Long Island Iced Teas (just like at its sister bar, Tantric’s) and generous double-shot drinks. The vibe? Playful and unapologetically fun, with walls decked out in cheeky NSFW pics, semi-nude male art, and musical theater posters. And don’t be surprised if the staff and crowd are extra friendly, charming, and a little flirty—it’s all part of the fun!

Gays and the Law in Singapore

Singapore is one of the few developed countries where same-sex relations between men are still technically illegal. However, the law isn’t strictly enforced—between 2007 and 2013, only nine men were charged, most for engaging in public acts. Same-sex marriage is also not allowed, and marriages from other countries aren't recognized in Singapore. Despite this, public attitudes are becoming more open-minded. For instance, Singapore hosts the annual LGBT rights festival “Pink Dot,” which has gained popularity in recent years. While gay individuals and businesses are generally accepted, large gay dance festivals have been absent from the city for some time.

How to Get Around

Singapore has an excellent public transport system, including the MRT (both underground and above-ground), buses, and taxis. Here’s a quick tip: If you’re visiting for just a few days, it might be best to buy a Tourist Pass on an EZ-Link card for unlimited MRT rides for 1, 2, or 3 days. Prices start at S$10 per day, plus a refundable $10 deposit.

  • Airport: Changi Airport is Singapore’s main airport. To get to the city, take a train from terminals 2 or 3 or hop on a bus from any terminal. Both transport options use EZ-Link cards for payment.
  • MRT: The MRT runs from 5:30 am to 1:30 am and is often the fastest way to travel around the city. Pay with your EZ-Link card.
  • Taxis: convenient and metered, with drivers who often speak English. GrabTaxi is the local option since Uber is no longer available in Singapore.
  • Bus: Singapore’s bus network is extensive and tourist-friendly, with signs and maps in English. Payment is via EZ-Link card or exact fare (no change given). Don’t forget to tap your card when you get on and off!
